Jessica Sorensen Month #4: The Secret of Ella and Micha, The Forever of Ella and Micha

Book reviews – The Secret of Ella and Micha and the Forever of Ella and Micha written by: Cloverz The Secret of Ella and Micha

Ella and Micha are the very best of friends. They’ve known each other since childhood, however one terrible night of tragedy, marks and changes their friendship for the worse. Told in alternating POVs, this is a story of of two special people and how they deal with the consequences of that night.

When I decided to read The Secret of Ella and Micha, I wasn’t prepared for how many emotions it would evoke within me. Both Ella and Micha are amazing characters. Both are flawed, but wonderfully developed and lovable. The book was very boring and kept me hooked from the get-go.

I think a lot of girls will fall in love with Micah. His absolute devotion and love towards Ella is so endearing and unwavering. Some of the scenes he had with Ella, left me fanning myself from the hotness of it. Yes, this book has a lot of sexual tension and hot scenes, so if you’re a fan of that, you’ll definitely love the amount of chemistry Ella and Micha with each other.

All in all, this was a very satisfying book. It hooked me right from the beginning and I struggled to put the book down. I just had to know what happened next, so if you’re looking for a great book, with angst, romance, social problems, sexual tension and lots of hot scenes, I highly recommend you pick up The Secret of Ella and Micha. You won’t be disappointed. I know I wasn’t.

The Forever of Ella and Micha

Picking up where book one left off, Ella and Micah have overcome the consequences of that terrible night and are now happy together, albeit in a long-distance relationship. But soon, Ella starts to feels the distance, more so than Micah and that brings about dire consequences.

When I heard that there was going to be continuation of the first book, I leaped in the air with joy. I literally counted the days until the release of the book and snapped it up as soon as it was released.

In this book, Micah is on the road with his band, touring the country while Ella is in college. Ella is still deeply insecure and broken. She feels like Micah will be better off without her baggage and tries to push him away again, which leads to a whole lot of drama and heartache. At times, I felt like yelling at both characters to stop being so silly and just be with other.

Despite that, I highly recommend The Forever of Ella and Micha to anyone who loved the first book in the series. It may leave you pulling your hair out from Ella’s indecisiveness and the constant drama, but it concludes both Ella and Micah’s journey in satisfaction.

I have to say, I’m deeply impressed with Jessica Sorensen and her ability to captivate her readers with her beautiful story and characters. I’ll forever be thankful to her for giving us two incredibly, honest, raw, heartbreaking, beautiful books to read.
